Cruise options

Come cruise the beautiful Noosa River and waterways on the unique, handcrafted classic wooden power boat Noosa Dream. This 1940’s inspired twin cockpit mahogany runabout seats up to five guests and is the most distinctive way to see – and be seen – in Noosa.

Cruise prices are all inclusive for your charter of the boat and her skipper. You can have up to 5 people in your party.

90 minute cruise – $330

We highly recommend a 90 minute cruise.

Your cruise will start with a leisurely exploration along Noosa Sound. Then as we head up the Noosa River past the sandy beaches, park lands and jetties of Noosaville you will experience the speed and excitement of this beautiful classic boat, as we head to the old timber town of Tewantin.

Then you’ll travel further up the river past Sir Richard Branson’s Makepeace Island and through beautiful Lake Cooroibah. Experience the lake’s solitude and expansive and stunning views before stopping to enjoy the peaceful beauty of a quiet and remote stretch of the Noosa River.

We often find that we are the only boat in this beautiful stretch of river.

On the return journey towards Noosa Heads, you’ll see the lovely, laid back homes of the Noosa North Shore and some very unusual houseboats, before visiting the river mouth.

At the river mouth you’ll be right amongst Noosa’s abundant bird life. Perhaps you will experience a stunning sunset as well.

Then you will glide through a different part of Noosa Sound, seeing some of Noosa’s finest homes before finally returning to the Sheraton wharf.

Alternatively, with 90 minutes, you could cruise for one hour and then drop in at a sandbar near the river mouth for 30 minutes for a refreshing swim and a stroll along the beachfront at the very start of the Noosa North Shore. The choice is yours… Book a 90 minute cruise.

2 hour cruise – $400

If time is not a constraint, 2 hours (or more) certainly offers the ultimate Noosa Dreamboats classic boating experience.

You’ll explore even further up the remote and pristine stretch of the Noosa River between Lake Cooroibah and Lake Cootharaba.

Alternatively you could be dropped off at your very own secluded island to swim and relax, and perhaps enjoy a delicious gourmet picnic hamper (food extra).

Two hours or more gives you lots of interesting options to have an amazing experience and we are happy to discuss ideas with you.

For cruises longer than 2 hours, the charter fee is $200 per hour or part thereof. Book a 2 hour or longer cruise.

60 minute cruise – $260

There you’ll see some of Noosa’s abundant bird life and perhaps a stunning sunset before returning through Noosa Sound to the Sheraton wharf. Book a 60 minute cruise.

Our departure locations

Noosa Dream will pick you up from the Sheraton wharf, located behind the Sheraton Hotel at number 14 Hastings St, Noosa Heads. Alternatively, we can also pick up and drop off at private waterfront venues on the Noosa River, including restaurants, with suitable jetty facilities, by arrangement.
