  • Covid-19 update

    Your safety and the safety of our staff are of paramount importance. Please take note of the following information.

     

    At present we have a 4 person group limit on all our cruises and packages with 3 sitting in the rear seat and 1 in the front. 

     

    If any of you have any of the flu like symptoms associated with COVID19 (Fever, Sore Throat, Cough, Runny Nose, Shortness of Breath) you must not attend. Please call us on 0414 990 708 as early as possible and we will arrange an alternative date with you.

     

    As an added precaution we will contact you the day before your cruise to  check whether you or the other passengers have any of the above symptoms.

     

    At present, we are required by the Queensland Government to collect the name, address and mobile phone number of all passengers and to hold that information for 56 days. If you have not already provided that information to us by email, we will ask for these details when we call the day before your cruise.

     

    Upon your arrival at the jetty and during your cruise we are required to practise physical distancing of 1.5 metres from people who are not from your household, so there won’t be any physical contact between yourselves and the Skipper. Alcohol based sanitiser will be provided for your hands before entering the boat.

     

    The boat is cleaned before and after each cruise for your safety and convenience.

     

    Single use wine glasses and bottled water will be provided for your use during the cruise and your skipper will collect any rubbish from you for disposal at the end of the cruise.

     

    During this time our cancellation policies are more flexible. If you are unable to attend your cruise due to illness we will endeavour to reschedule your cruise to a mutually suitable time. If that is not possible we will provide a refund, less any bank fees.

     

    Wet / inclement weather

     

    Cruises cancelled due to wet / inclement weather will be rescheduled wherever possible. If rescheduling is not possible, the following refunds apply for weather related cancellations:

    • Standard cruises – full refund less any credit card fees charged (if applicable)
    • Sandbar picnics – full refund on the Noosa Dreamboats cruise component less a $50 administration fee and any catering charges that cannot be recouped
    • Cruise & restaurant packages – full refund on the Noosa Dreamboats cruise component less a $50 administration fee. No refund on the other suppliers’ components, which can still be provided regardless of the weather
    • Wedding charters and elopement packages – please see our wedding charter terms and conditions

     

    Maximum capacity

     

    COVID-19 Update: At present we have a 4 person limit on all our cruises and packages. For 4 person bookings at least 3 people must be from the same family or household.

     

    Noosa Dream is a compact speed boat and we are required to comply with passenger number and total weight restrictions. Your group can have up to 5 persons provided that their combined weight does not exceed 425 kg. If the combined weight of your group exceeds 425kg it will be necessary for your skipper to limit the number of passengers boarding the boat.

     

    Cancellations by customer

     

    Standard cruises:

    • Within 3-7 days of departure, 85% refund
    • Within 48 hrs of departure, no refund
    • Failure to board, no refund

     

    Wedding cruises and Elopement Packages:

     

    Special packages and sandbar picnics:

    • Within 3-7 days of departure, 75% refund
    • Within 48 hrs of departure, no refund
    • Failure to board, no refund

     

    Gift Vouchers

    • Gift vouchers purchased after 1 November 2019 expire 3 years after the purchase date. In the event that we are unable to provide the service included in the voucher during that 3 year period we will provide a refund equivalent to the original purchase price of the voucher. Gift Vouchers are otherwise not refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

     

    Jetty usage and jetty fee surcharges

    • You can begin and/or end your cruise at Rickys Restaurant jetty on Noosa Sound only if you are dining at Rickys, Wood Fire Grill, Wasabi or Rock Salt before or after your cruise. We will ask you which restaurant you are dining at when you make your booking.
    • A jetty fee surcharge applies for each use of the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort jetty. You will be advised of surcharges at the time of booking and it will be added to the price of your cruise or package.
    • We charge an additional $20 travel time fee for bookings requiring pick up at the jetty at Laburnum Park at Noosaville (Noosa Waters) and jetties along Gympie Terrace in Noosaville.

     

    Credit, Debit and Prepaid card payment surcharges

     

    Surcharges apply for payments made over the phone via Visa and MasterCard credit cards (1.5%) and Visa and MasterCard Debit and Prepaid cards (0.85%). For payments made via our online booking system surcharges apply for credit card payments made via Stripe (1.8%) and via PayPal (2.6%). No surcharges apply for payments made via direct bank transfer.
